Commissioned PLC and SCADA control room, one of the industrial automation projects in Saudi Arabia

What kinds of automation projects do we deliver?

Each project follows the same discipline: a reviewed functional design, software proven in a factory test, and commissioning to the client's test plan.

Process, oil and gas work

Our work for Saudi Aramco and SABIC sits within the vendor requirements of those organisations. That means documented designs, witnessed tests and loop folders. See the approved automation contractor page and our oil and gas automation page.

Utility and infrastructure work

Water, wastewater and cooling assets share the same needs: remote stations, reliable communications and clear alarms. See water and wastewater and district cooling and utilities.

Industrial city and plant work

Our work with the Royal Commission covers the industrial cities of Jubail and Yanbu. Manufacturers there ask for migrations, SCADA extensions and commissioning inside planned shutdowns. See Jubail for how we plan around turnarounds.

What does a typical project look like?

  1. The client sends an I/O list, P&IDs or a description of the existing system.
  2. We issue a proposal and, after approval, a functional design specification.
  3. We program, then test the software against a simulated process.
  4. We commission on site, run loop checks and close punch items.
  5. We hand over source files, backups and test records.
  6. We agree support for the first operating weeks and beyond.

Typical durations are 2–6 weeks for a PLC system, 1–4 weeks for HMI, 4–12 weeks for SCADA and 3–8 weeks for telemetry.

Can we show a similar site?

Tell us your sector and city when you request a quotation. If we hold a similar installation and the client allows it, we describe the scope we can share.
